Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons posted 9 wins last season, narrowly missing the playoffs. They did however show a lot of promise in their late season push to make the playoffs. The Falcons showed a decent defense but struggled to put the ball into the end zone with the consistency necessary to make a difference in the playoffs. Though their defense was decent, their pass rush could use some help.
There are a handful of options to aid the pass rush in the first round at pick 19 for the Falcons. Brandon Graham of Michigan, Eversen Griffen or Jared Odrick could produce some sacks for the Falcons this year.
The Falcons do not have a second round pick this season. A bit of help from the offensive line could be beneficial for this Falcons team. In the third round there are some options available for the Falcons to look at. This players include Michael Petrus, a guard from Arkansas or Vladimir Ducasse from University of Massachusetts.
The 4th round could be a place where the Falcons could pick up a linebacker to help out on defense. Thaddeus Gibson of Ohio State could be another pass rushing linebacker/ defensive end that could help out this team if he is available.
Other options include Phillip Dillard of Nebraska or Eric Norwood of South Carolina. Thaddeus Gibson would probably be the biggest help to the team, but these other players could help out as well if Gibson is not available.
