NFL Preview: Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins
The Green Packers will head to Washington to take on the Redskins for a great NFC matchup this Sunday. The Packers and Redskins are both coming off of victories last week in which they looked more or less impressive. The Packers will be the 3 point favorites in this matchup in various NFL betting lines.
The Packers are 3-1 on the season and have had an impressive offensive attack. The offense of the Packers has averaged 26.5 points per game on the season, and they still look like they are growing together. They will have a good shot at putting up point on the board against the Redskins who have allowed more than 300 passing yards per game to this point on the season.
Green Bay has won 10 of their last 13 games and they have had a clear advantage over the Redskins in recent matchups. The Packers have won 4 of the last 5 against the Redskins and figure to be the definite favorites in this matchup.
One thing that the Redskins have that they never had before is Donovan McNabb. McNabb is still a quarterback that can carry a team for stretches and will be an important part of the Redskins’ team. The team has only won 4 of their last 16 matches, but 2 of those victories have already come under the direction of McNabb.
The Redskins will definitely need to step things up in this home matchup. They have won just 1 of their last 5 home games.
