NFL Preview: Tennessee Titans at New York Giants
The Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants will square off this Sunday in game three of the 2010 NFL season for each team. Each team has had varying results to this point in the season. The Giants will by the 3 point favorites with an over/under of 42.5.
Tennessee has been great over the last 12 games, going 9-3 in that stretch. They have also fared well against the Giants recently, winning 4 of their last 5 against the Giants. However, they have not fared well on the road. They have won just three of their last 10 road games. In the NFL betting odds the Titans aren’t favorites either.
The biggest drama for the Titans will be surrounding Vince Young. Last season the Titans tried to sit him on the bench to see how the team would fare. They learned that they were a better team with him on the field. However, after having a poor start to last game Young found himself back on the bench. If Young sits the bench the Titans’ chances of winning will decrease.
The Giants continue to find themselves in a funk. Last week they were ousted by the Colts and are just 4-9 in their last 13 games. Everyone keeps predicting them to bounce back, but the team keeps disappointing as the favorite. They have been 3-10 against the spread in their last 13 games.
The Titans have had a great pass defense this season and it will be interesting to see if Eli Manning can put up a big game this year.
