Chicago at Dallas – Preview – NFL

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Chicago Bears at Cowboys Stadium, on Sunday, September 19. Dallas is coming off a heart-breaking opener in which a fumble was caused in a controversial call, which led to a Washington Redskins touchdown.

The Dallas Cowboys are struggling in the red zone again, aside from that. They got into the red zone three times in the game against the Redskins but only came away with one touchdown.

On the other hand, the Bears will have to learn how to get past the Dallas defense. Against 3-4 defenses, Chicago is 2-5 and they will be looking for some big plays from Jay Cutler over the course of the game.  Last week, he played well and he produced 23 of 35 completions and had a total of 372 yards. This year, he seems to be a different player and he has a lot more confidence.

2007 is the last time these two teams met where the Cowboys rolled over the Bears in  34-10 victory on the road.  On the side of the Dallas Cowboys, the favor seems be on their side, but they will have to avoid penalties in order to secure a win.

Chicago Bears had 9 penalties for over 100 yards in their game last week and the same goes for them too. Converting 0 of 4 chances, Cutler also struggled in the red zone. They will need to stop Tony Romo and their defense is healthy.

Over the Bears, the Cowboys are a 9-point favorite, and the over/under total is currently at 41.
