NFL minicamps: New York Giants
The New York Giants had a lot of good flashes during their mini camp that recently took place. Tom Coughlin has never been easy to impress, but he has been pleased with the results that his team has brought to the camp.
A solid batch of young players will be positive for the New York Giants. Last season towards the end of the season the Giants really seemed to fall apart. If they can add some depth and energy to that team that struggled to keep it up for the whole 16 game schedule, they will be better off in the 2010 season.
Their defensive end, NFL betting odds star, Jason Pierre-Paul, has been impressive so far in mini camps. Pierre-Paul was drafted by the Giants in the first round. He spent much of his time working on stance technique and attacking from the snap. Pierre-Paul will have high expectations as over the years the Giants have had some great defensive ends.
One of the players that has been particularly impressive in the eyes of Tom Coughlin has been Tim Brown. Tim Brown is a young wide receiver that has shown an ability to catch the long ball in these mini camps. Eli Manning can always use another target and will be pleased if Tim Brown can step in as a reliable option and a deep threat.
There were no particularly negative events for the New York Giants in mini camp and it looks as though the team is ready to take on the 2010 season.
