Baltimore Ravens – NFL – Mini Camps
For the upcoming season, the Ravens are excited. The Ravens have enjoyed regular season and post-season success, for two straight years. They look to continue that as they have made a lot of key additions to the team. This year, the Mini camp showed just what the Ravens will have available to them.
As they have made key acquisitions this off-season to help out Joe Flacco, the passing game has been bolstered. Anquan Boldin, Dante Stallworth, Dennis Pitta, and Ed Dickson are included for the receiving help. These guys have looked great so far and look to be a big boost to the Ravens offense.
Flacco and Boldin look like a solid combo and mini camp has shown that. It looks as though they are on the same page from the start. Expect good chemistry between these two players. Defense has always been the strength of the Ravens and looks like it is even better this year.
In mini camp, rookies Terrence Cody and Sergio Kindle have had great showings and they look to be a big boost to an already solid defense. If they continue the play the way they have so far, they both have a great shot at not just getting playing time, but even winning a starting job.
Michael Oher has been moved to the starting left tackle position, on the offensive line. Meanwhile, to the left side, Jared Gaither has been moved. It appears that Gaither may be traded with Oher’s emergence. At this point in the offseason, the Ravens look like a contender.
